Zap Facts
This is a half day program that reviews the principles and clinical applications of electrosurgery, describes electrosurgical technologies, explores best practices to achieve favorable patient outcomes, suggests documentation protocols, and considers the legal implications of providing nursing care to the patient when electrosurgery is used. Zap Facts can be presented on a Saturday at either a healthcare facility or a hotel. Many AORN chapters have used the program as a fund raiser.
