Mission Statement

The goal of the Covidien Energy-Based Professional Education, Department of Clinical Education is to improve patient care, safety, and outcomes by assisting physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare in their efforts to stay abreast of changes in technology and clinical practice.

The scope of our efforts includes educating physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare personnel regarding the indications, complications, alternatives, and skills that relate to advances in surgical and radiofrequency related technique, technology, and practice. Educational activities will include, but not be limited to, didactic presentations, seminars and conferences, practical skills training sessions, and enduring materials.

The Department of Clinical Education is dedicated to providing balanced and scientifically sound education activities based on evidence that reviews the science of disease and potential interventions. We are committed to offering education that satisfies the expressed needs of target audiences.
